Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 10, 2026 · Last updated: May 10, 2026

Legal entity. The name of the series established by this Addendum shall be Knox Holdings LLC - Series A (operating internally and externally under the designated name “Knox Studios”). This policy describes our practices under that operating name.

Information collection — summary. Across Knox Studios apps, the personal information we collect is limited to what you provide for account sign-up: typically your email address, processed through Google Firebase Authentication. We do not otherwise collect personal information through those apps as described in this policy. For the short standalone statement, see our Data collection disclaimer.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to mobile apps, web apps, and websites operated under the Knox Studios name that link to this policy (the “Services”). It does not apply to third-party sites or services we do not control.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account information (Firebase Authentication)

Where a Service offers sign-in, we may use Firebase Authentication to create and secure your account. In our current apps, this involves processing the email address you submit for registration or sign-in. Firebase may also process technical data related to authentication (for example, security tokens, device identifiers used for fraud prevention) as described in Google’s documentation.

We do not request or intentionally collect other categories of personal information through our apps beyond what is necessary for authentication as configured.

2.2 Information we do not intentionally collect

We do not intentionally collect precise geolocation, contacts from your device, photos, microphone audio, or health data through our apps for profiling or analytics beyond what Firebase Authentication may handle automatically for security. If a future product changes collection practices, we will update this policy and, where required, provide additional notice or consent mechanisms.

2.3 Website and communications

If you email us or use a contact form on our website, we receive the information you send (such as your name, email address, and message content) to respond to you.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Services;
  • Create and authenticate accounts;
  • Communicate with you about the Services or your requests;
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)

If applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract (providing the Services), legitimate interests (security and improvement, balanced against your rights), or consent where required.

5. Sharing of information

We share information with:

  • Google Firebase / Google Cloud, as necessary to operate authentication and hosting configured for the Services;
  • Professional advisors (for example, attorneys or accountants) where confidential;
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information as “sale” is commonly understood under U.S. state privacy laws, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Retention

We retain account-related information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backup, security, and legal compliance. You may request deletion as described below.

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise rights, contact us using the details below. You may also adjust or revoke Firebase-linked credentials through your Google account settings where applicable.

10. International transfers

Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards.

11. Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version and updating the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or other reasonable means.
